Intimate wedding
Maybe you have always dreamed of a small, intimate wedding with your nearest and dearest. Less people will be available on a Friday due to work commitments, school etc than on a Saturday; making it easier for you to stick to your preferred number of guests. However, be sure to let your invited guests know early enough so they can plan in good time to take time of work to attend your wedding.
It’s cheaper
Because a Friday wedding cuts down on the number of guests you will incur lower costs since you can go for a smaller, cheaper wedding venue. The cost of catering, even the décor, seats and tents and so on will also be cheaper since they are pegged on the number of people at your wedding.

Much as Friday weddings have grown in popularity they are still not as popular as Saturdays, which means your preferred photographer or caterer is more likely to be available on a Friday than a Saturday.
Last minute errands
You are probably not planning on running errands before you go off on your honeymoon but you might find yourself needing to rush to the bank or to buy something before you ride off into the sunset. If you are leaving for your honeymoon on Saturday most places are open allowing you to run any last minute errands.
